Luke's 1st birthday

My friend Liane's son, Luke, turned one at the end of November. He and Sheridan go to the same day care and they just love playing together! We like to refer to him as Sheridan's boyfriend because I think he's the cutest little boy ever! ;) Luke's birthday party was on December 2nd and all of the kids (and parents) had a great time! I loved Liane's idea of just having cake and ice cream for a 1st birthday party! It wasn't over the top since let's face it, they don't remember, but yet so much fun for the kids because they got to play together and eat lots of sugar! I think I'm going to steal the idea for Sheridan's birthday party. ;)
How fun that we get to see each other on a Saturday! Happy Birthday to you!
Did you make a wish?
Where's my cake?
This was definitely worth waiting a year for!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Cameron and I debated over getting a real tree or using the little fake 4 foot tree I bought last year when I was too pregnant to deal with anything bigger! I won....of course :) so on Sunday we took Sheridan shopping for her first Christmas tree.
Looking for the perfect one

Sheridan gives her input

We found a winner!

All is fair in love....and football

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family on Friday. Sarah and Cal came into town that morning and it was so good to see them! We all watched the game together between A&M and UT and were pleasantly surprised when our Aggies beat the Longhorns at home!
12th Family

Gig'em!

Exhausted from all the excitement

Fun with Clifford

Sheridan had a great time being pushed around on Clifford and Cameron got a great workout!

More Thanksgiving

Sheridan and her great-grandmother, Julia
Sheridan loves Papaw (her great-grandfather)
We're so glad Memaw and Papaw will get to know Sheridan & Rebekah
me and Kelly
Kaley and Kiley...don't ask me which one is which! ;)

Turkey Day

We spent Thanksgiving Day in Temple with Cameron's family. There is always a lot of family there and I think that's the best!

Sheridan's first Thanksgiving meal

Playing with GG
Meeting Fritz...Sheridan was mesmerized

Cousin Rebekah
Leah, Jeffrey, and Rebekah

Messy Missy

Now I understand why Sheridan ends up with food in her hair and everywhere after daddy feeds her dinner!
I won't be clean for long!
Mom would never let me do all this crazy stuff while eating! ;)
This is SO much fun!

Weekend with Daddy

I went to Galveston with some girlfriends to scrapbook the weekend of November 17th so Sheridan spent some quality time with daddy, GG, and Grandad at the ranch in Lampasas.

Don't put me in camo unless it's pink!

Playing in the hammock with Grandad
All bundled up!
Cuddling with GG to stay warm
Watching football with Grandad

Mommy's little helper???

Sheridan discovers the dishwasher and all the fun stuff that's in it!!
I can be helpful...really! ;)

Playtime!

Sheridan is always on the move and her only objective is to play, play, play! She loves to crawl in and out of her mega-saucer and any toy that makes noise is her favorite!

Don't get stuck!
Taking time out to pose for the camera
Which button makes all the noise again?

Born to ride?? Mom thinks NOT....

My father's new passion is Harley Davidson motorcycles. When he's not flying, he can be found riding all over the hill country! His wardrobe now consists of EVERY Harley t-shirt that was ever made! Sheridan spent her weekly afternoon with my parents and this is what happens when Grandpa Tex is in charge!

I thought grandparents were supposed to be GOOD influences!

"Mom, I had nothing to do with this...promise! "

The logo is even on the back of the shirt

Standing tall

For the past few weeks Sheridan has been standing on her own for a second or two but would quickly fall to sitting down. But last night her balancing act made major improvements....she stood for long lengths of time without holding onto anything but a toy! I was so excited that at first I just sat there staring at her with my mouth and eyes wide open! Then I realized I should be taking pictures....so here they are....

"What's the big deal mom? I'm just eating my toy!"

Look at me...standing tall and proud!

It's much better having both hands free to play

I think I'll do a little dance to celebrate!

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat!

I took Sheridan trick or treating to a few houses in our neighborhood. Even though she had no idea what was going on, I think she had fun!

Candy? For me? I can definitely get the hang of this!
Time to check out my loot!
No point in letting wrappers get in my way!
Yummy, yummy twizzlers!

Happy Halloween!

On Halloween night our neighbors, Richard and Karen, invited us over for pizza before going trick or treating. There were a lot of other families there who had kids the same age as their son, Hunter, who is five. We sat out in the front yard and passed out candy while listening to Halloween music. We had a great time!

Sheridan flirts with Caden
Pizza, beer, and candy...what else do you need?
Ready to go trick or treating!
